Many of us love the idea of owning a motorcycle. It is something that we dream about – but for most there is something that is holding us back. Motorcycles are considered by the majority of the population to be a hazard because of how small they are and the little protection they provide to those driving it.
It is true that in the wrong hands these can be death machines to the drivers and the people around them. The trick is to learn how to respect the bike and how to properly drive it so that no harm does come to you. One great way is to start off with something small that is fun and easy to drive.
Mini pocket bikes are the spitting images of the average sized motorcycles. The standard mini pocket bike stands thirty inches tall and weighs anywhere between forty-two to sixty pounds. They can look like a miniature form of your favorite Kawasaki model or like a dirt bike that you would take along the dirt roads and hills.

For older teenagers and adults you will want to spend around $300 to $500 for a bike with a larger and more powerful engine, power train, suspension, and other features that make it suitable to perform tricks or be used in races. Some people will spend thousands of dollars upgrading their bikes to make them more powerful for their racing teams. These enhancements help to make their 45 mph run up to 75 mph.
