One of my favorite sports is racing. I love the thrill of going at high speeds and trying to get in front of everyone in order to cross the finish line first. I might not always win – but I love the feeling of knowing I tried my hardest. There are many things that you can use to start a racing team of your own. The easiest is to use a mini pocket rocket.
Mini pocket rockets are miniature motorcycles. These unusual bikes originated in Japan as a way for them to start a new type of racing. They quickly became a sensation all over the world are now known by many names including, mini motorcycles and mini pocket bikes.
Models
When you first glance at one of these mini pocket rockets you would assume that they are for small children. Most stand a mere thirty inches from the ground and weigh only forty pounds. While children fit on them easily adults usually have to bend far at the knees to squeeze themselves onto it.
However, they do come in larger sizes – but not so large as to make them more then what they are – mini. It is not uncommon for teenagers and young adults to purchase their own rocket. They will use them for racing and also to perform special tricks. The lighter the rocket the easier it is to use for these fun sports.
Price
The price of each pocket rocket will vary depending on the model that you choose and the manufacturer who made it. Some will look like mini choppers or a regular Suzuki or Kawasaki motorcycle. Others might look more simple like a dirt bike with very few trimming on it.
The lighter weight machines with very little power might cost around $100 and are most used by younger children. They will drive them around their driveways or neighborhoods as they would a go kart or even their own bicycle. The slightly larger and more powerful rockets are used for older teenagers and young adults.
These machines are designed with quality parts and components that make them durable and able to handle the arduous task of racing. The suspension, brakes, lights, and engine work together to handle any curve and to absorb any bumps. These might cost anywhere between $300 to $2,000.
